Apa yang menjadi penyebab macet? tentunya banyak hal yang dapat menjadi pemicunya. Saya coba mengangkat tentang pertumbuhan kendaraan pribadi dan juga kendaraan umum yang tidak diikuti dengan pertumbuhan ruas jalan. Cobalah sekali-kali menghitung berapa jumlah angkutan umum (misal angkot) dan hitung berapa yang terisi penuh? Setiap hari saya berangkat kerja dari rumah di Tangerang menuju Pulogadung menggunakan sepeda motor, dan tiap hari saya melihat angkot berjajar sepanjang jalan dalam kondisi penumpang minim atau bahkan kosong sama sekali. Ini tentunya sangat ironis.

Angkot ada karena ada trayek, dan untuk memperoleh ijin trayek tentunya pake duit. Jika semakin banyak ijin trayek dikeluarkan siapa yang paling banyak dapat duit?

Motifnya cuma satu; mencari penumpang. Sementara persaingan sesama angkot sedemikian ketatnya. Apa jadinya? jalanan semakin macet. Kondisi ini diperparah dengan calon penumpang yang sama “oneng”nya, seperti menunggu angkot di lampu merah, Pufffh…stress. Kalo udah begitu, yang keluar adalah caci maki, …dari penghuni kebun binatang sampai kotoran kita sendiri disebut-sebut.

Mari kita berdoa dan berharap, semoga para pemimpin yang baru terpilih, dapat menjalankan tugas dengan baik sampai akhir kepemimpinan serta dapat menjadikan Indonesia, sebagai negeri yang pantas dan layak untuk ditinggali. Amin
